Meet Information and End of Season Information

Morning Cros Families, 


Thank you for your flexibility at the meet last night. This is a LONG email with lots of details for the next two weeks. 


  • Ribbons & Awards - There were some 8&u ribbons missing today. We'll get them next week. Swimmer of the week, we'll have your prize next week too.

  • Practice Schedule Next week - We will have a regular practice schedule next week. For awards from Madeira meet, we will do during the Wednesday practice, during your child's normal practice time. 

  • Meet Info - Meet is Tuesday at Madeira. Warm ups are 5:50, and the theme is green out. Parking is very tight, so if the lot is full, park at Madeira middle school and there is a walk path. 

  • Finals - Over the next week, the coaches or I will be reaching out about your availability for finals. Be on the lookout for that communication. 

  • Save the Date for Swim Banquet - We are planning on 7/20 in the late afternoon, early evening for the swim banquet. We will have our parent relays and other fun things on this day. 

  • Next Year - As our team is growing, we need to expand our volunteer team to help the swim team. Below are some of the positions we need filled. If you are interested in any of the following, let me know. 

    • Donut Parent - In charge of picking up the donuts, and helping set up and clean up on Fridays. This is a season long Commitment. 

    • Volunteer Coordinator - Help get volunteer spots filled and organize volunteers at the meets. Doesn't need to be at every meet. 

    • 8&u Clerk Coordinator   - Help lead the 8&u wrangling for the season and ensure we have volunteers. Doesn't need to be at every meet, but be a mentor and help get meets organized for our youngest swimmers and their parents.

    • 11 and Over Social Coordinator - We want to enhance our program for our older kids to include social events.
